Biodynamics
What does Biodynamic mean?
Rudolf Steiner provided the information which later became know as the Biodynamic way of growing plants through a series of Austrian lectures given in 1924. These lectures have been translated into English and bound in a book entitled Agriculture. In this work Steiner defines the ways in which to make and the reasoning behind certain Preparations which utilize naturally occurring plant and animal materials to promote "farm" health. These Preparations combine Peasant Wisdom and Intuition with Subtle Energies and were created to be simple enough that any farmer with experience could make them and distribute them onto his land for the purpose of bringing about balance and healing.
