The Windsor Gardens Vineyard is located in the Russian River Valley Appellation of Sonoma County near the town of Windsor. The soil is deep and well draining with a rolling topography of high and low spots. Windsor Creek flows through the vineyard into the Laguna de Santa Rosa, a magnificent wetland complex that gathers up many local creeks before draining their waters into the Russian River and then to the sea. 
The vines are 40 years old and are an unknown old clone that is capable of producing thick, fruit forward wines. Lee Martinelli farms these vines in much the same way as at the Laughlin Vineyard.
