The Nunes Vineyard is located in the Russian River Valley Appellation of Sonoma County near the town of Windsor. Within the vineyard are some beautiful specimens of different species and varying ages of older Oak trees that were saved upon the planting of the vineyard to provide a picturesque landscape in combination with the rows of vines as well as beneficial habitat for Bird predators such as owls and hawks. Supporting this beautiful landscape is Pruitt Creek which flows through the vineyard into Windsor Creek and then into the Laguna de Santa Rosa, a magnificent wetland complex that gathers up many local creeks before draining their waters into the Russian River and then to the sea.
